Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: October 19, 2026

This policy covers how to cancel your Wardesk Pro subscription and when refunds apply. It is intended to be read alongside our Terms of Service.

Wardesk is operated by OVERMATCH OÜ, registered in the Republic of Estonia (EU) under registry code 17564126. Payments are processed by Stripe.

For purchases marked Sold through Link, Stripe Managed Payments is the merchant of record. You can also manage your subscription and contact payment support at Link. Stripe may issue a refund within 60 days of a transaction in certain circumstances under its Managed Payments terms, including when we have not answered a support request within 48 hours. Those refunds and your statutory rights are not restricted by the policy below. A full refund ends Pro access; a partial refund does not by itself cancel your subscription.

Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel Pro at any time from the billing page inside the app, or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation is immediate and requires no explanation.

When you cancel, you keep full Pro access until the end of the billing period you already paid for. After that date, your account reverts to the Free plan. Your data is preserved. If you are over the Free plan caps at that point, you will not be able to create new projects or habits above the caps until you are within them, but nothing existing is deleted.

Consumer withdrawal rights

Consumers in the EU generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase, subject to the exceptions set by applicable law.

The Terms checkbox in Wardesk's Managed Payments checkout records acceptance of our Terms of Service. It does not record a separate waiver of consumer withdrawal rights.

Any applicable statutory withdrawal or refund rights remain available. For a purchase marked Sold through Link, contact Link for payment support or email [email protected] and we will help you find the right transaction.

You can still cancel Pro at any time (see above). Cancellation stops the next renewal immediately, and you keep access to Pro through the end of the period you already paid for.

Prorated refunds

Outside applicable statutory rights, merchant-of-record refunds, and the exceptions below, we do not normally offer prorated refunds for partially used monthly or annual billing periods. Cancelling stops the next renewal immediately, and you keep the access you already paid for through the end of the period.

Additional refund cases

We will refund a partially used period in these cases:

Duplicate or accidental charges: if Stripe processed the same payment twice, or you were charged after a cancellation should have taken effect, we refund the duplicate immediately.

Sustained service failure: if a Wardesk outage prevented you from meaningfully using Pro features for several days within a paid period, we refund the affected days on request.

Termination without cause by us: if we suspend or close your Pro account for any reason other than a violation of the Terms of Service, we issue a prorated refund for the unused portion of your billing period automatically.

Billing errors on our side: if the wrong plan or currency was charged because of a fault in our checkout, we refund the difference or reprocess at the correct amount, your choice.

How to request a refund

Email [email protected] from the address on your account. Include:

1. The email address on your Wardesk account.
2. The approximate date of the payment.
3. Which of the situations above applies, or a short description if none does.

We reply within 48 hours. Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method via Stripe. Depending on your bank, the refund can take 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement.

Before opening a chargeback

If a charge is unfamiliar, contact Link or [email protected] for help finding the transaction. This does not affect your right to dispute a charge with your bank.

Chargebacks opened without contacting us may be contested if we can show the service was delivered as described. If a chargeback is upheld, we may close the affected account.

Your data after cancellation

Cancelling your Pro subscription does not delete anything. Your account, projects, tasks, journal entries, and everything else remain in place under the Free plan.

If you want to delete your account entirely, you can do it from Settings, or by emailing us at [email protected]. Your Pro plan stops renewing straight away, and you have 30 days to change your mind. After that, account deletion permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy, apart from what you shared with friends, which stays with them.
